Hourly Consultation
Do you need an experienced designer to bounce your ideas off of, to review building plans, to create interior or exterior colour paletttes, to work with your existing furniture pieces, or to go on a shopping trip to a spot(s) of your choosing to make the best selections according to your budget? Are you wondering what the best design option(s) are for your space or how to decorate it so that it reflects your personality and lifestyle? An hourly consult is the best way to answer your questions! Tanya is happy to discuss all the options available to you in your specific interior, anything from space planning, kitchen and bathroom layouts, furniture arrangement and scale, art display, drapery, lighting, finishes, styling, and paint colors. Initial or hourly consultations are billed at $250/hr + HST. An additional travel fee of $40.00 + HST applies for travel over 20 minutes drive from our central Ottawa office. Residential Project
Do you wish your home looked, flowed and functioned like any of the portfolios we feature? Do you require a vision for your project that includes architectural plans like permit ready drawings and elevations or do you wish to have guidance or technical help along the way as you manage your own project? Do you require Tanya’s detailed and expert eye to make sure your vision is realized? Residential service includes everything from consults at the client’s home, meetings to select finishes and to review or to present plans, project management via site visits and regular communication with the contractor managing the implementation of the project, permit ready drawings with ceiling reflection, 2D floor plans, elevations for finish carpentry, 3D concepts to envision the proposed changes from various vantage points within a space, custom kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, and furnishings, engineering services where required, selection of finishes, and decorating. After the initial appointment, consults, meetings, and site visits are billed at $200/hr + HST, drafts-work/CAD drawings at $150/hr, and all other in-office work such as reviewing plans, coordinating the project, sourcing product and communication via email or phone is billed at $200/hr in 15 minute increments. Trade discounts typically up to 20% will be passed along to clients where applicable on any products purchased. Why not start the process with an hourly consult? Note: you are not required to engage Tanya for a set number of hours, nor pay a monthly retainer fee, nor use her referred contractors (who you deal with independently and directly for payment) however it is strongly recommended that you engage her throughout your project for a more efficient process, cost-effective project, and beautiful end result. Commercial Project
Do you want your business interior, condo develpment, or public space, to reflect your brand, vision, and aesthetic while appealing to your customer base and demographic? As designer of Ottawa's newest boutique condominium, The Azure, Tanya knows how to create a stylish, functional and spectacular interior on a grand scale. Commercial service includes consults at the client’s business address, presentation of proposal and finishes, site visits and regular communication with the archtiecture and/or construction firm managing the implementation of the project, permit ready drawings with ceiling reflection, 2D floor plans, elevations for finish carpentry, 3D concepts to envision the proposed changes from various vantage points within the space, custom cabinetry, custom furnishings if applicable, engineering services where required, selection of finishes, and decorating. Once scope, budget, and needs are determined after a paid initial consult at $300/hr + HST, commercial projects are typically billed on a cost/square foot basis or percentage of the overall project.
